In these challenging times I thought what better than to zero in a topic/company that makes people happy, where I worked and inspired me in my career and personal life. That is Disney.

I was glad to have as my guest David Millay, a fellow Disney alum, an architect of the Disney Institute’s foray in to the sports market and now Managing Partner of his company, EngageMint, a customer & employee experience design firm, where he leads its day to day business and growth.

We had an enlightening and lively discussion about “Leadership Lessons from Disney”. I have always wondered about the magic of Disney, and why their practices and processes are respected by organizations both in and out of sports.

David talked about what Walt Disney said is its larger purpose; to make people happy. It is that purpose, that why, which guides what they do.

Take a moment to listen to our conversation.
